MDP - Alternative or Equivalent to the Government

We were told incessantly that MDP came to existence as an
alternative to the failed government. The arguments put forth to
prove the failure of the government includes a plethora of
issues,which includes the cases of morally bankrupt characters,
corrupt officials,drunkards, homosexuals...etc. Now that the
same qualities have been discovered in high ranking people of
MDP, the storyline has changed dramatically. MDP's supporters,
when asked for an explanation for this anomaly, the most assured
reply goes something like 'government also does that'. This kind
of rhetoric fails to answer the pressing question as to whether
this party came as an alternative or as an equivalent to a
failed government. The shallow 'government does it too' type of
justifications suggest that this party is striving to appear as
an equivalent to the government, which it (MDP) claimed is a
failure during the initial stages. Since this argument failed to
provide plausible answers, there is a new argument, perhaps,
trying to reinforce the notion that there have been many 'good
changes' to the society since MDP's creation.
True, there have been many changes since its creation. There is
Mr.X who got a job after MDP's creation. Then there is Mr.Y who
got a scholarship after MDP's creation. Also, another person
Mrs.Z got married recently. This also occurred after its
creation. So, can this party claim that it somehow has a hand in
effecting these changes ?
We can simply agree that changes have occurred. Whether they are
good or bad, we cant decide using our own whims and desires. For
Muslims, the good and bad is determined by Allah i.e. the
Islamic texts. Islam decides what should be the shape of the
society. The said 'good changes' are not geared to build a
society as described by Islam. Yes, the society is overwhelmed
with all kinds of changes to the extent never experience before.
But, there is no consensus to determine the type of changes that
can be specifically attributed to MDP's effort.
