Cartoons of the Prophet

04|02|2006 | Adduonline

Recently in Denmark some newspaper has published cartoons of the prophet that are of an unpleasant nature.

As expected the whole Arab world went up in rage. It reminds us of when copies of the Quran were abused in Guantanamo bay.

What is worth noticing that when an event of this nature happens, most of the Muslims feel an urgency to do something to defend Islam, and more often than not they go out on demonstrations, riots, etc. The real danger of this is that after carrying all that and releasing the anger that they carry in their hearts, they feel that they calm down, and feel that they have done their bit for Islam and the Muslims. Obviously, the obligation of establishing Islam is continuing, and the fact that it is not established (in the form of an Islamic state that implements the shariah laws) is the thing that should anger the Muslims the most. This is simply because, the Muslim works for the hereafter and his purpose of life is to worship Allah, by making the word of Allah supreme.

The west deliberately allow these incidents to happen, in order to release the pressure and anger that the Muslims have towards their current state, and divert the attention to little incidents like this. They realise that the Islamic emotions in the Muslims cannot be relinquished. So they would rather manipulate it to their advantage.

Some Arab countries (like Saudi Arabia and Libya) have decided to boycott Danish products, as if that is solution to the problem (just goes to show the nature of the current Arab governments).

Had there been a sincere leadership for Muslims, there would have been a declaration of jihad instead of boycott, demonstrations and flag burning ceremonies - drawing parallels with the French play in 1910 which was insulting the Messenger and their withdrawal after the Caliph, Sultan Abdul-Hamid 2nd threatened them with Jihad
